News of Tsarskoe Selo ON JUNE 23, 2012 A 302 ANNIVERSARY OF TSARSKOYE SELO WILL BE CELEBRATED. The festive events will traditionally start with a Parade to be revolved around the War of 1812 (meeting regiments of TsarskoeSelo returning from War of 1812). Different historical clubs, street theatres, interactive genre artists will participate in the Parade as well as the citizens and the guests of our town, representing different organizations. Theatrical prologue will be held near MoskovskiyeVorota and then the column will pass over the streets of Pushkin and finish the carnival procession in Buferny Park where the festivities will take place. In Buferny Park there traditionally will be several music and interactive venues. The program of the day will include interesting performances. During the celebration different competitions will be held. The citizens and the guests of Pushkin have been prepared for these competitions during the year, the events will include costume awards, decoration of baby carriages, Miss TsarskoeSelo, humor duels and others. From June 16 to 22 a Best Yard competition will take part in Pushkin. The yards will be estimated on the assumption of the state of lawns, children playgrounds and accesses to the entrances of houses. On July 1, 2012 at 20:00 a performance with famous Russian actor Konstantin Raykin will take part in Tsarskoselsky Dom Molodyeji (Youth House) at 42A, Magazeinaya str., Pushkin, Saint-Petersburg.  |
