During more than 10 years of work the Chamber has amassed a wealth of experience in such fields as examination, estimation, certification, control of quantity, quality, completeness, technical condition of goods in process of their use.
Department of Examination, Certification and Expert
valuations
Experts of the department render the following kind of services:
1. Expert examination of goods on their identity:
- a code of the goods according to TN VED (Russian version of Harmonised System Classification of Products by Activities);
- the countries of origin of the goods;
- quantity and completeness of the goods;
- quality of the goods;
- norms of a downstream or consumption norms of objects of conversion, which are taking place on the customs territory in a customs mode of processing.
2. Identification expertise of goods and technologies for the purpose of export control.
3. Realization of laboratory researches.
4. Certification of documents on foreign trade activities.
5. Carrying out an expertise in purpose of claims drafting for:
- presenting claims to suppliers on delivery of production which is not appropriate to requirements of the contract (shortage, inadequate quality, incompleteness, etc.);
- revealing the reasons of the goods damage and its extent caused during transportation or in an insurance case;
- defining conformity of the presented goods to a sample of purchase, the data of its marking by results of organoleptic analysis and laboratory researches;
- identification of production to a sample of purchase or its description in order to protect manufacturers against falsification of their production.
6. Estimation of objects of civil rights.
Advertising - Publishing Department
- Publishing of a weekly advertising newspaper and brochures and delivering them to the customers.
Innovation Department
- The development of new and improvement of the existing technologies and goods. Engineering-technical facilities for the scientific and industrial enterprises. The conceptual decision of complicated and non-standard problems for customers.
Translation Department
Employees of the department professionally translate:
- business, legal documents and advertising,
- scientific and technical documentation, personal papers from European languages into Russian and on the contrary,
- revising and editing the texts with the following attesting of their translations for customers,
Department of Information and analysis
Experts of the department render consulting and informational support to enterprises and foreign trade activities and carry out the following kind of services:
- providing information about domestic and foreign organizations, commercial and industrial chambers, consulates and other organizations assisting in development of business,
- distributing and research of business information on a basis infra-structures and information resources of CCI of the Russian Federation system,
- distributing information on members of CCI in the Russian Federation and abroad through the international databases,
- providing reference information from informational-legal systems,
- search for potential partners in Russia and abroad,
- providing information on exhibitions, fairs, conferences and seminars to be spent in Russia and abroad,
- rendering assistance in registration, reorganization and liquidation of enterprises of various form of ownership,
- inviting foreign business partners to Russia,
- sending businessmen to foreign business trips,
- accrediting of representation of a foreign legal person at CCI of the Russian Federation,
- organizing of seminars, presentations, conferences etc,
- manufacturing of camera-ready arts of issues, printing, x-copying, binding, distributing of information by fax, mail, E-mail and other types of advertising and publishing.
Web-Publishing Department
- Professional development, support of web-pages and servers, organization of electronic trade etc.
Tourist Department
- Invitation support for procurement of entry visas to Russia from any country of the world;
- booking in hotels of Saint Petersburg, Moscow, Pushkin and Pavlovsk;
- rendering excursion services in different cities of Russia;
- provision of licensed guides and translators;
- transport service, reserving air and railway tickets;
- organizing of business meetings in Russia and abroad, request tours and tourist trips to any country of the world and throughout Russia.
Other departments of CCI carry out:
- Consideration of disputes between commercial entities by the Arbitration court at CCI;
- registration of trade marks and inventions, drawing up and registration of license contracts, patent researches;
- pre-court and our-of-court resolution of business disputes by means of negotiations;
- rendering all kinds of insurance services.
Attracting investments to Pushkin is another field of CCI concern.
Today Russian and foreign CCIs cooperate closely in such fields as information exchange, development of joint projects in investment and of programs on staff training.
