On the 14th of March the head of Russian government Victor Zubkov visited a production-agricultural cooperative "Detskoselskiy". Over the last years the cooperative survived positive changes. The agriculture was reconstructed and tooled up with up-to date equipment, milking operation became automated, a new sport complex was opened for the staff of the cooperative.
Speaking with senior managers of the cooperative "Detskoselskiy", Victor Zubkov underlined that in the four coming years 550 milliards of rubles will be spent on the development of agricultural industry.
Later on the day the head of the Russian government visited Saint-Petersburg State agricultural university, located in Pushkin. The university trains future generation of agriculturists and stock-breeders.

On the 12 of February there was held a meeting of the administration of Pushkin and the town society. The theme of the report said: "the results of the administration activity for 2007 year, preparation for the celebration of 300-year jubilee of Tsarskoy Selo and plans for 2008 year"

The round table, devoted to "the actual questions of microentrepreneurship development" took place on the 5 of February 2008 in the CCI of Pushkin and Pavlovsk. The representatives of the executive authorities of Saint-Petersburg, the administration & the municipal formation of Pushkin town and the public microentrepreneurship organizations took part in this event.
The main goal of the round table was to analyze the evolvement of microentrepreneurship in Pushkin and to learn of the barriers on the way of small employers, which bar the partnership of business and authority.

On Saint-Petersburg government session there was adopted a bill of "development of middle- and microentrepreneurship". The bill defines the credentials of Legislative Assembly in this sphere. The bill establishes canons of criticism of state policy efficiency, such as growth of global regional product, raise of tax revenue in municipal budget, expansion of job.

In the Kremlin on the eve of two jubilees - 90-ties of CCI foundation and 75-ties of Federal Chamber there was a meeting between the president Vladimir Putin and the General Committee of CCI RF.

A career fair was held in the recreation centre of Pushkin. It was organized by CCI under order of employment service. More than 40 enterprises took part in this event. The visitors had the opportunity to get acquainted with base of vacancies, to consult professional personnel officer and to take opinion how to draw up resume.

The reporting back reelective meeting of Pushkin-town CCI took place in November. Chambers of CCI, representatives of CCI RF and local government, members of Legislative Assembly, friends and partners of CCI attended this meeting. In the course of the meeting the action reports of CCI over a period of 2002-2007 were listened to, the main fields of concern over a period of 2007-2012 were defined and new board was elected. New president of CCI is Kruglov Sergey - general director of LLC "ComProfservice", member of Social Council on microentrepreneurship under the Pushkin-town government. Victor Afanassenko remained at post of director of CCI.
